Therapist, Author & Yoga Enthusiast
As a therapist...
I work with individuals and couples of all genders between ages 25 and 60. I value insight-oriented work, and use a psychoanalytic/relational lens. I work on a long-term basis, usually meeting once or twice a week.
As a writer, editor and author...
I have written for various publications such as iDiva, The Swaddle, and DailyO, and has authored two books - a romance novel titled Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and a non-fiction book, Dear Men: Masculinity & Modern Love in MeToo India.
My last editorial role was as the Head of Editorial at being, an app that published bite-sized self-help content written by qualified mental health professionals.
As a yoga enthusiast...
I am a certified yoga teacher, though I don't teach anymore. I learnt that teaching requires a bent of mind and spirit that I don't possess. But, my practice helps me feel relaxed in my body, and open in my mind. Sometimes, I practice Vinyasa and sometimes, Hatha. If I lived in a less polluted city, I might do more pranayama, especially anulom vilom. But, oh well... I do what I can.
